Menuvate Helper does not collect, store, sell or share any personal information.

What the add-on does

Menuvate Helper is a companion browser add-on for Menuvate, a menu analysis tool for restaurant operators. Some restaurants publish their menus through online ordering platforms that do not permit websites to read their pages directly. When you ask Menuvate to import such a menu, the add-on fetches that one page using your browser and passes it to Menuvate, which reads the menu from it.

What it accesses, and when

• Restaurant ordering pages on toast.site and toasttab.com — fetched only when you start a menu import in Menuvate.
• Menuvate's own pages — the add-on tells the Menuvate app that it is installed, so the app can show whether menu importing is available. It does not read the contents of those pages.

The add-on takes no action of any kind unless you begin a menu import.

Information we collect

None. The add-on does not collect, transmit or retain any personal information, including names, email addresses, location, browsing history, or the contents of pages you visit. It contains no analytics, no tracking and no advertising.

How fetched page content is handled

The restaurant ordering page fetched at your request is passed directly to the Menuvate application in your own browser so the menu can be imported. It is not sent to any other destination, and the add-on does not retain a copy. Menu information you choose to import is then handled by Menuvate under Menuvate's own terms.

Local storage

The add-on may store a small flag locally in your browser relating to its own state. This contains no personal information and never leaves your device.

Third parties

No information is shared with any third party. The add-on uses no third-party services, libraries or servers of its own.

Permissions

Browsers require add-ons to declare the access they need. Menuvate Helper requests access to restaurant ordering pages on toast.site and toasttab.com because fetching those pages is its sole function, and access to Menuvate's own pages so it can report that it is installed. It requests no other access.

Removing the add-on

You can remove Menuvate Helper at any time from your browser's extensions settings. Removing it stops Toast menu importing in Menuvate; nothing else is affected, and no data needs to be deleted because none is kept.
